Introducing The Nova Webinar for parents of babies aged 4 to 12 Months Old.
Well, firstly my waiting lists get so long that I cannot help as many people as I would like on a one to one situation and there are a lot of parents looking for guidance.
Secondly, I see that parents are confused when it comes to weaning: which milk feeds to leave in place, and where to add the solids etc. I have 20+ years’ experience in childcare and I’ve weaned more babies that I can count. I also hold a Diploma in Child Nutrition. I’m not a nutritionist but I’m happy to share what works for me and the Sleepy Stars I help.
When people ask me what my approach is, I reply “routine” and sleep training is the very last resort. Sometimes the routine alone resolves all of the issues, but with children aged 4 months + the routine alone usually improves the nights and days but it may not resolve all of your nightly wake ups.
It’s important to be aware that if your child’s daily routine is not complementary to their age then expecting them to have good nights is unrealistic.
Parents of babies aged 4 – 12 months old who wish to know how to shape their little ones routines, including feeds and naps.
I will be discussing:-
All of this is information that I relay to my Sleepy Stars’ parents whom I work with on a one to one. Everything that I recommend parents to do, I have personally done myself many many times when working as a maternity nurse / nanny / in creches etc. I know how difficult it can be sometimes but I also know how worthwhile it is when baby and parents are happy.
I will be using Zoom for this webinar. Please ensure that you have a strong internet connection before signing up. You will receive a link for the webinar upon registering.
Please add firstname.lastname@example.org to your safe senders/contact list to ensure the email gets through as we don’t want it to go to your junk mail. If you are signing in with a different name to the one you signed up with please reply to this email to let us know to save confusion before the Webinar.
On the day of the Webinar we will open the waiting room 30 minutes beforehand. We will admit each person into the webinar as the join requests come in. Please ensure that your zoom name is the same as your ticket name or that you have let us know the different name. To be fair to those who have paid, there are limited spaces on the webinar so only those on the list will be admitted. We limit numbers to allow for question time.
Bullet point presentation slides will be sent to each ticket holder after the webinar. There is a lot of information discussed within a short space of time on this webinar as this is not a consultation and obviously cannot be tailored to each person attending. I understand that it is difficult to take notes and pay full attention when you are caring for your little one. If you can try to plan a nap for your baby around this time or perhaps one parent can attend whilst the other parent cares for baby that will help. The webinar will not be recorded.
Important: This webinar does NOT cover sleep training. If your child’s wake ups are related to a high reliance on a soother / rocking / extra feeds etc, this webinar will help but it may not solve your child’s reliance on sleep assistance; only sleep training will do this. Please keep in mind that I do not recommend that any parent sleep train their little one unless the days are complementary to their nights and there is a source of comfort in place. I will endeavour to answer as many relevant questions as possible when discussing the topics. If your question is not relevant to the majority it may not be covered. There is no follow on support after the webinar.
T & Cs:
Please note: I fully support parents who prefer their baby to feed and sleep on demand, but many parents who come to me are seeking guidance to help their baby in to a routine. Whatever you choose is right for your family is best.
"Just finished the Nova Webinar and it was brilliant! So many things clicked and I regret not doing this earlier! Definitely converted a skeptic ! Id say forget about the books and google. Trying to do it your self IS HARD! Kelly has experience with not only 1 , 2 or 3 children but hundreds and each are different. You can tell she’s met them all as the webinar was tailored to EVERYONE and it was so easy to follow. Thanks again to Sian also for recommending Kelly when I really needed it 🥰"
